Very short read. Billy is having a crisis he is a billionaire who got robbed and now has severe panic attacks and nightmares. Enter Katie a counselor who is on her way to getting her PHD. Billy start seeing Katie as a therapist and is immediately attracted to her though I know this is something that is plausible I felt that once Katie too was attracted to him the author could have had her transferring him to another therapist before pursuing the attraction. The whole book was a big taboo of them tipping near the boundary line of will they or not be intimate. As soon as he found out his girl cheated there was not a grace period of mourning he ran straight to Katie and started making out. As this being my second book by Ms. Grant let's just say her books could give fifty shades a run for their money with the steamy very sexual scenes.
I just love all of Bella Grant books period there so good well written I was hooked from the first book I read of her,s now I want to read all she,s written so far so if u are new to her please try her books I,m sure u will just love her like I do
I received an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review....I really enjoyed this story, It made a nice change for the Alpha male ( Billy the Billionaire) to be a middle aged person! Could not put it down once I stated to read it! Nice short story wish it had been a little longer!
I got to about 32% and couldn't continue. I already saw how everything was gonna play out. The heroine just seemed slutty and naive. The hero was a billionaire in his late forties but acted like a baby.
Maybe it is just me but I couldn't seem to get into the book. I kept skipping to the dialogue.
Billionaire Billy needs help from counselor Katie....or does he. He has money but has lost his focus until he meets Katie. I loved how they couldn't get enough of each when they had barely even touched yet! I was offered an arc for an honest review. I thought this book was hot and it teaches you money doesn't heal you, it just helps. You have to trust yourself and take chances to find that happily ever after and heal your heart and soul! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have received an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review… Bill is a forty-five year old billionaire. Bill is five-foot-nine, has bright green eyes as well as salt and pepper hair. One night Bill rented a room at a hotel in order to escape from his fiancé, Fiona. That night, as Bill was walking to the hotel, a man grabbed him from behind. The man easily over powered Bill and demanded that they go to the ATM and take out all of his money. When they went to the ATM, because Bill is a multi-millionaire, the robber was only able to obtain the amount of money which was in the ATM. It was then the robber took the gun he had to Bill’s head and beat him over the head until he was almost unconscious. After rolling him over, the robber kept beating Bill with the gun until someone saw and called the police. After the robbery Bill started having nightmares and suffered from PTSD. Fiona then demanded the Bill go for therapy in order to be “fixed”.
Katie recently graduated from college with her master’s degree in and holds the title of Kathleen Warren, MA, LPC. Katie has decided that she is going to take time off from school in ordered to work for a while before she goes back to school in order to obtain her doctorate. Bill comes into her office seeking her assistance in order to find a way to cope from the robbery which is causing him to suffer. Despite the fact that Katie is unemotional and professional, Bill begins to try to cross the worker-patient line. He convinces her to questionable things.
Will Katie be able to resist temptation, or will she risk everything? Will Bill be able to break down Katie’s defenses? What will come of Bill’s therapy, will he be able to cope from the robbery?
I rate Heal Me with four out of five stars. Heal me shows how difficult it is for someone, even a billionaire, to cope with a traumatic experience. Heal Me shows that despite developing PTSD and suffering from nightmares, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and there is no shame is seeking professional help to cope. Heal Me shows that despite everything, the heart wants what it wants, that love is a risk.
The reason that I rate Heal Me with four out of five stars is because I think that the book is too simple. Personally I would have added more twists, turns and plot points. I would have developed the characters further so that the reader can really connect with the characters from childhood. I would cause a huge disturbance in the book, causing an extreme occurrence. I really just felt that the book could have been better and less simple.
